How to start skating in Espoon Jäätaiturit
Are you interested in skating in our club?
Children
Children can start skating in our Figure Skating School (Luistelukoulu) in Laaksolahti Arena, Espoo.
- Tenavat, on Sunday (12.40-13.20)
- Viikkotenavat, on Wednesday (17.50-18.30)
- Mintut, on Sunday (13.20 - 14.00)
- Children with no skating experience at all are recommended to start in Tenavat or Viikkotenavat groups even if their are older than 6 years.
The Autumn season lasts from September (beginning Sunday 7th / Wednesday 3rd) to December, the Spring season from January to April.
The cost for new skaters is 150 euros (once a week) or 235 euros (twice a week) Autumn season / Spring season.
Entry Form (in Finnish)
Most skaters continue skating several seasons. These lessons are held in several small subgroups (for children of different age and level). The teaching language is Finnish, but all our coaches can speak English, too.
Single skaters and synchronized skaters
Please contact us! After that we will check if we have a group that suits you and if we can take any new skaters into it.
Adults
Our adult synchronized skating team Valley Bay Evergreens trains once a week, on Friday evenings. Some skating ability required.
